Any person living in a rental property on a full-time basis who: (1) is eighteen (18) years of age or older, AND (2) will be a party to the Lease, is required to fill out his/her own Rental Application. In connection therewith, National Tenant Network (“NTN”) will need each such individual’s name and email address so that it may email him/her a link to his/her own Rental Application. Each Co-Applicant must fill out the Rental Application that NTN emails to him/her in order to ensure a smooth application process, as NTN must handle Co-Applicants’ Rental Applications together; and, a Co-Applicant’s failure to do so will either slow your application process down or render your Rental Application null and void.

In order to successfully process your online Rental Application, NTN will need information from you regarding the following:

  • Applicant Details
  • Applicant Information
  • Address History
  • Co-Applicants
  • Co-Occupants
  • Employment History
  • Additional Monthly Income
  • Bank Information
  • Vehicle Information

  • References
  • Pet Details

  • Personal History

THE REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE FIRM CHARGES A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE OF ($20.00) PER APPLICANT, A PORTION OF WHICH IS USED TO PAY NTN’S FEE AND THE REMAINDER OF WHICH IS RETAINED BY THE REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE FIRM. THIS FEE, WHICH MUST BE PAID AT THE TIME THAT A RENTAL APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED BY AN APPLICANT, IS SEPARATE AND APART FROM ANY REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE COMMISSION THAT AN APPLICANT MAY HAVE OTHERWISE AGREED TO PAY TO THE BROKER(S). YOU MUST PAY YOUR FEE VIA CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD.

The following credit card types are accepted:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard

If you are unable to meet these requirements at this time, please do not continue with the application process.

For an Applicant applying to rent real property located in the State of New York:

Pursuant to Federal, New York State and NYC Admin. Code §20-807 et seq. law, NTN is required to provide you with the following disclosure:

The information that you are about to provide on your Rental Application will be used by an Owner/Landlord or his/her designated Property Manager to procure various Prospective Tenant Reports on you; and, the Owner/Landlord will use these Reports to determine your suitability for renting his/her property.

If the Owner/Landlord denies your Rental Application or takes other adverse action against you due to the information contained in a Tenant Report, the Owner/Landlord must tell you so, and also how to contact NTN in order to obtain a free copy of your Reports.

You may dispute inaccurate and/or incorrect information on the Reports directly with the Owner’s/Landlord’s Consumer Reporting Agency, which is: National Tenant Network - New Jersey, P.O. Box No. 1023, Turnersville, NJ 08012 │ Tel: (800)422-8299 │ Fax: (888)885-7528 │ www.ntnonline.com

Additionally, you may annually order a free Credit Report from www.annualcreditreport.com (which is in addition to the free Report that you are entitled to receive from a national Consumer Reporting Agency if an Owner/Landlord takes adverse action against you).
